On Friday, May 15, 2015 at approximately 18:02 hrs, Officers with the Waterloo Police Department were dispatched to 908 Broadway St on a report of a subject that had been shot at this location.  On arrival to this location the victim was transported to Allen Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

During the course of the investigation it was found that the victim was a 15 year old female.  At this time it is believed that the victim sustained her injuries during an incident that occurred inside of the residence.

This incident remains under investigation.

We don't believe there is any risk to public safety at this time.
