On Monday, October 12, 2015, at approximately 1932 hrs, Officers responded to Mr. Jay's Cafe at 927 W 5th St on the report of an armed robbery at the business.  During the course of the investigation, 16 year old Seyveion Marchele James Hayes was identified as the suspect.  He was taken into custody without incident on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 on the charge of Robbery 1st Degree and transported to the Black Hawk County Jail.  At this time, no booking photo will be released and the Waterloo Police Department requests that no photos of Hayes be published at this time.
