On Wednesday, December 9th, 2015 the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner identified the body that was found in the Cedar River near Gilbertville on December 6^th, 2015 as Moe Sed, age 18, from Waterloo.

Moe Sed, a West High Student, went missing on morning of October 22, 2015. He was last seen near his residence on West 4^th Street in Waterloo.

The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner has ruled the cause of death as undetermined at this time until the completion of their examination.
