On April 29, 2016 at approximately 22:23 hrs Officers were dispatched to 1918 Sycamore St on a report of a child abduction. Officers arrived on scene and learned that Roy Baker been assaulted and a 15 year old female, Shakiya Baker, was abducted.  The suspects were described as two black males, at least one of them was in possession of a gun.  They fled the scene in a conversion van that was white and green in color.

Due to the nature of this incident an Amber Alert was issued for Shakiya Baker.

On April 30, 2016 at approximately 01:47 hrs Officers were informed that Shakiya Baker had been left on the side of the road in the 2500 block of Burton Ave. She was not physically injured.

The Amber Alert was then cancelled.

This case remains under investigation.
