On Saturday, July 22, 2017 Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Fairview Ave and W. Parker St on a report of a shooting.  On arrival to the area a subject was located in the 600 block of W. Parker St that had sustained injuries from being shot.  The victim, Daejon Putman (age 20,) was transported to a local hospital for treatment.  Putman is expected to survive at this time.

During the investigation of this incident four subjects were arrested and charged with the following offenses:

Aviana Smith (age 16):  Robbery 2nd Degree

Angela Hamer (age 41):  Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Prescription Pills, and Assault While Displaying a Weapon.

Allan Hale (age 40):  Possession of Marijuana With Intent, Possession of Meth with Intent, Possession of Prescription Pills with Intent, Robbery 1st Degree, Going Armed with Intent, and Possession of Weapon By Felon.

Taveon Hale (age 19):  Willful Injury, Intimidation With a Dangerous Weapon, Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of Prescription Pills with Intent, and Going Armed with Intent.

All four subjects were booked in at the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office.

No other information will be released until Monday.
