On Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:22 AM, Waterloo Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Regions Bank at 412 Mulberry Street. Suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun to the teller and demanded money. The suspect then fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is described as a black male with a stocky build, wearing a black shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses. The incident remains under investigation.
