On Monday, March 26, 2018 at approximately 2:30 AM Waterloo Police Officers responded to a report of a Robbery at the Kwik Star, 1105 Cedar Bend Street, Waterloo.   Investigation into this matter determined that two masked subjects entered the store and demanded money from the clerk.   The subjects fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.  Investigation into this matter has led to the arrest of Charles D. Allen III age 18 and Kamarious J. Jenkins age 18 for Robbery 2nd Degree.  They are currently in the Black Hawk County Jail.   There were no weapons displayed and no one was injured in this incident.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at approximately 1:11 AM Waterloo Police Officers responded to a disorderly conduct at Wal-Mart, 1334 Flamang Drive.    The suspects left Wal-Mart prior to officers arrival but were located in a vehicle at approximately 2:47 AM in the area of 9th and Washington.   Officers recognized the vehicle matched the description of the vehicle seen in the area of the Robbery of the Kwik Star on March 26th, 2018.   Officers conducted a traffic stop on this vehicle and as result of the investigation into this stop, Elijah A. Lewis age 16, was charged with Robbery 2nd Degree for the robbery of the Kwik Star at 1105 Cedar Bend on 3/26/2018. 

A criminal charge is an accusation.   A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
