On June 6, 2019 at about 1335 hours Officers with the Violent Crimes Apprehension Team conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle regarding a traffic violation and an on-going criminal investigation. During the stop, Officers detained 3 occupants from the vehicle, one being identified as Corey Dunn Jr (Age 19). Officers located a loaded .38 cal revolver, a quantity of marijuana, plastic baggies, and some US Currency.

As a result of the investigation, Corey Dunn was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver while in Possession of Firearm, Carrying Weapons, and Drug Tax Stamp Violation. Dunn was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail.
