On Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:30pm Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Bertch Avenue.   Upon their arrival they found the driver of a motorcycle (later identified as Ashlee M. Gander age 33 of Waterloo) had struck a trailer parked alongside the roadway.   Waterloo Fire Rescue treated and transported Gander to Mercy One where she was transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for treatment of the injuries sustained in this accident.
