Shooting Investigation

On May 30, 2022, at approximately 8:53PM Waterloo Police Officer were dispatched to the area of W. 4^th Street and Grant on a report of shooting.  When Officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.  Officers rendered lifesaving aid, until Waterloo Fire Rescue arrived and took over.  The victim has been transported to Mercy One, where they are being treated.
