On  November 21, 2022 at approximately 11:30 Waterloo Police and Fire Rescue responded to a report of a person down in the 200 blk of Miriam Dr. Once  on scene, they discovered a male victim had been shot.  The victim was transported to Mercy One, where he was pronounced dead.  The victim's name is not being released until family can be notified.  If you have any information you are asked to call Waterloo Police or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers.

The victim in this incident has been identified as Keivon L. Anderson, age 20 of Waterloo.
