On February 15, 2023, at approximately 1:24 PM Black Hawk County consolidated dispatch took a report of a shooting at 911 Leavitt Street in Waterloo, Iowa.  Waterloo Patrol Officers and Waterloo Fire Personnel arrived on scene and began administering life saving measures to a male victim.  The victim was transported to MercyOne by Waterloo Fire Personnel and was later flown to the University of Iowa Hospital.  Waterloo Patrol and Detectives were able to detain a 13 yrs. old juvenile and have charged the juvenile with two counts of Attempted Murder.  This investigation is still on going.
