On May 9, 2023, at approximately 3:44 AM consolidated dispatch took several calls of shots being fired in the 1200 blk of W 4^th street.  Patrol Officers arrived in the area and located several spent casings in the 500 blk of Baltimore.  A short time later Officers received information of a 14 yrs old shooting victim that had been transported by private vehicle to Mercy One.  The victim’s wound appears to be non-life threatening.  During the investigation Tyrie Wade age 15 was taken into custody and charged with Willful Injury (C felony) and Felon in possession of a firearm.   Investigation continues.

 A Criminal Charge/Warrant is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
