On Sunday June 30, 2024, at approximately 8:22 AM Waterloo Police responded to a report of a male in the 200 blk of Manson with a gun.  The investigation into this incident resulted in an officer involved shooting in the 1200 blk of E 4^th Street, with one male being declared deceased.  During the incident two Waterloo Police Officers were shot and transported to a local hospital.
