On Tuesday, July 21, 2009 around 2:30 pm Waterloo Police officers responded to 125 Chestnut Street on a report of a shooting that had just occurred.  Upon arrival officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.  Waterloo Fire Rescue Paramedics transported the victim to Allen Hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injury.

Investigators have a suspect and are actively investigating this incident.  No other information will be released at this time.
