On Friday January 8, 2011 Waterloo Officers with the Violent Crimes Apprehension Team were conducting an investigation in the 200 block of Cottage Grove.  At approximately 1230am Officers encountered a conflict involving a number of subjects outside of 214 Cottage Grove. Officers observed a number of gunshots being fired at that time.

 

Officers pursued multiple suspects on foot and several people were taken into custody.  Waterloo Officers were assisted by the Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office and the Evansdale Police Department during the incident.  Case remains under investigation with charges pending.
