On Sunday, January 9, 2011 at approximately 5:02 AM, Waterloo Police responded to a robbery at the McDonalds Restaurant, 2222 Logan Avenue.

Employees reported that as they were arriving at work, a white male in the parking lot approached them. The male had a long barreled weapon and demanded money. The suspect had the employees knock on the door to the business, and was let in by the cleaning crew. Once inside, the suspect again demanded money. The business was not open yet, so there was no money in the cash registers. The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a white male wearing a black hoodie, gloves, dark clothes and had his face painted black. Investigation continues.
