Director of Safety Services Dan Trelka announces the appointment of Pat Treloar to the position of Chief of Fire Services and Joe Leibold to the position of Captain of Police Services.

 

Pat Treloar has been a Waterloo firefighter since 1997. Prior to his appointment to the position of Chief of Fire Services he was a Fire Captain. Pat has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration and plans on pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Public Policy and Administration. He and his family live in the City of Waterloo.

 

Joe Leibold has been a Waterloo police officer since 1990. Prior to his appointment to the position of Captain of Police Services he was the Patrol Captain. Joe has a degree in Police Science from Hawkeye Community College and is pursing a Criminal Justice Degree from Upper Iowa University. Joe is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. Joe is a veteran of the Iowa Army National Guard. He and his family live in the City of Waterloo.
