Patch

On Thursday, September 29, 2011, Waterloo Police responded to several reports of vandalism.  Shortly after 6:00 AM an employee at West High School, 425 East Ridgeway, reported that the school had been spray painted with profanity and anarchist symbols. Officers later found that a school van had been spray painted and the vandals had broken into the baseball and softball hitting facilities and spray painted inside the buildings.

Officers further found that a house at 227 Easton Avenue, a house at 305 Easton Avenue and a car at 308 Terrace Drive had also been vandalism.

The same type of vandalism was later discovered at Central Middle School, 1350 Katoski Drive.

Police believe the incidents are related and ask that anyone having information about these incidents to please call the Waterloo Police Department at 319-291-2515.
