On October 22, 2011, Waterloo Police were dispatched to Best Buy, 2541 Crossroads Boulevard, Waterloo reference a theft. Officers met with store security about several thefts recently involving three female suspects.

The suspects were observed on at least two separate occasions selecting electronic devices, concealing them and leaving the store without paying for the items. The items were valued at $3800.00. On one occasion, the suspects used a juvenile to distract store security, while they left without paying for the items.

Officers arrested Carletta Qwenita Williams, age 25, of Chicago, IL for Theft in the Second Degree, Forgery and Using a Juvenile to commit certain offenses and Tiwana Lynn Davis, age 29, of Chicago, IL for Theft in the Second Degree and Providing False Information. They are both being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on $25,000 bond.
