Waterloo City Hall and Waterloo Police will Experience Temporary Telephone Outage

On Monday, September 29, 2008 technicians will perform upgrades to Waterloo City Hall and the Waterloo Police Department’s telephone system.  These upgrades will begin around 7:00 a.m. and may last until approximately 8:00 a.m.

During this process City Hall and the Police Department will not be able to receive any incoming calls.  If you need to reach the Police Department during this time, please call 319-291-2515, which is the non-emergency phone number at the Black Hawk Consolidated Dispatch Center.

During this process, emergency phone service will not be interrupted.  If you have an emergency please call 9-1-1.

After the upgrades are performed, the City Hall and Police Department’s phone service will return to normal operations.
