On Saturday November 3, 2012 Officers with the Waterloo Police Department's Violent Crime Apprehension Team initiated a traffic stop in the area of Conger/Grandview Ave. for an equipment violation.  Officers made contact with twenty-year-old Aaron Dontae Pritchard, nineteen-year-old Taiwan Shalante Cox and forty-four-year-old Lazarries Darryl Ratliff, all of Waterloo.  During the investigation Officers located a loaded .357 revolver and a loaded .22 revolver inside the vehicle.  Officers also located a quantity of marijuana in Ratliff's possession.

All three suspects were taken into custody and later booked at the Black Hawk County Jail.  Pritchard was charged with carrying weapons and driving while license suspended.  Cox was charged with carrying weapons and Ratliff was charged with possession of marijuana.
