On Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 at 5:11 AM the Waterloo Police Department responded to the 700 block of Logan Ave on a report of shots being fired. Officers arrived on the scene and discovered a male, age 55, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the Unity Point, Allen Hospital where he died from those wounds. This is an ongoing murder investigation and no additional information is being released at this time. The name is being withheld pending notification of family.
