Waterloo Police Announce Charges in Shooting Investigation:

On Saturday September 26^th, 2020 Waterloo Police responded to the 500 blk of W 4^th St reference a shooting.  Officers arrived on scene and found that multiple shots had been fired by multiple people.  Two individuals, identified as Dacarious Burkett and Takeya Hogan-Camp, were found to have suffered gunshot wounds succumbed to their injuries. As a result of the investigation Waterloo Police have charged Willie Edward Saffold Jr with two counts of First Degree Murder. A Criminal Charge/Warrant is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty
