On Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Waterloo Police Officers located a subject who reported that he had been shot in the vicinity of 833 West 2nd Street. The victim was transported to Covenant Medical Center, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The victim identified a suspect and the suspect was later seen in the area of West 9th and Grant Streets. Waterloo Police Officers are currently attempting to make contact with the suspect. At this time officers are attempting to negotiate with the suspect.
