On September 9, 2010, Waterloo Police responded to Greco & Associates Financial Service, 1727 University Avenue, on report of a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers observed a broken window and a subject inside. The building was secured and the subject later came out and was arrested.
Arrested was Justin Montez Dale, age 18, of 1238 Englewood Avenue, Waterloo. He was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree. Follow up investigation resulted in Dale also being charged in several other burglaries. Dale was charged with Burglary in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief for a burglary at this same location that occurred on September 7, 2010. Taken in that burglary was several laptop computers and a .40 Glock gun.
Dale was also charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, Attempted Burglary and Criminal Mischief for two burglaries at Electronic Engineering, 750 Ansborough, Waterloo that occurred on July 18, 2010 and August 1, 2010.
Dale's brother, Jeremy Antonio Williams, age 21, of 1238 Englewood Avenue, Waterloo, was arrested for Theft in the Third Degree for being in possession of a gun taken from the Greco & Associates burglary that occurred on September 7, 2010. Police recovered the .40 Glock gun.
