Man charged with Two Counts of Robbery

On July 6, 2010, Waterloo Police arrested Maurice Keaunte Williams, age 20, of 317 Camden Road, Iowa City, Iowa for two counts of Robbery in the 1st Degree.

Williams is being charged with robbing the Check-N-Go, 2056 Logan Avenue on May 5, 2010 and the Check Into Cash, 2744 University Avenue on May 21, 2010. In both robberies, a gun was used and money was taken.

Williams is currently being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on NO BOND!

No photo is being released at this time. The robberies are still under investigation.
