Waterloo Police Arrest Third Burglary Suspect

On Thursday, July 1, 2010 around 9 a.m., Waterloo Police officers investigated a burglary at 816 Bayard Street.  Two persons, 19-year-old Martavis Tayshon Wise and 17-year-old John Joe Barbee were arrested and charged with second degree burglary.

On Friday, July 2, 2010 around 11:30 a.m., Waterloo Police officers arrested 17-year-old Devonta Cortez Johnson of Waterloo and charged him with second degree burglary in connection with the burglary at 816 Bayard Street.  Johnson is presently being held at the Black Hawk County Detention Center.

This is still an ongoing investigation and suspect photos will not be released at this time.
