Waterloo Police Investigate Robbery
On Wednesday, January 28th, 2009 at 8:11 P.M. Waterloo Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Kwik Stop, 1761 Independence Ave.
The two suspects entered the business, displaying handguns, and demanded money from the employees. One shot was fired inside the store, but resulted in no injuries. The suspects were described as two black males, one wearing a black jacket, one wearing a red jacket, both with masks covering their face, 5'1 to 5'6 in height. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
