Victims Identified From Recent Shooting Incident

On Monday, July 13, 2009 around 6:15 pm Waterloo Police officers responded to the area of the 900 block of West 3rd Street on the report of shots fired.  When officers arrived in the area they found three persons with gunshot wounds.

The victims from this incident have been identified as follows:

Sixteen-year-old Edward Degraffinreed from Waterloo.  Degraffinreed is hospitalized at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo in guarded condition with gunshot wounds to the torso.

Twenty-five-year-old Travell McCoy, and 17-year-old Damarrius Darrell Todd, both from Waterloo, are hospitalized at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.  McCoy is in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the leg and Todd is in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the arm.

This is an ongoing investigation and no other information will be released at this time.
