Waterloo Police Investigate Stabbing
On Sunday, November 30, 2008, at about 5:57 AM, Waterloo Police responded to a suspicious call at 406 Baltimore. Officers located Brandon Jarod Gray, age 24 and Brian Michael O'Connell, age 19, in the yard outside of 406 Baltimore.
Officers determined Gray had sustained multiple injuries which were consistant with being stabbed. The suspect Brian O'Connell was taken into custody. Gray was transported by Waterloo Fire for treatment of his injuries.
Brian Michael O'Connell was charged with one count of Willful Injury, a Class C felony. O'Connell was booked into the Black Hawk County Jail, bond was not set pending O'Connell's initial appearence. The case remains under investigation and no further details are being released at this time.
