Waterloo Police Investigate Convenience Store Robbery
On Tuesday, December 2, 2008 around 9:00 p.m., Waterloo Police officers responded to the Kum & Go Convenience store at 1976 Franklin Street on a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
During the investigation officers learned that two black males, in their mid to late teens, who had their faces partially covered and armed with handguns, entered the store and confronted the clerk. The black males demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the store on foot.
The clerk was not injured during this incident and the investigation continues.
